Roger Stern is Co-Chairman of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati's Employee Benefits & Compensation group.

Roger's practice focuses on designing, reviewing and implementing a wide range of benefit and compensation programs structured to suit emerging growth companies as well as other manufacturing and service businesses. Prominent clients that Roger counsels include Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, KLA-Tencor, Brocade Communications, TIBCO Software, Networks Associates, Actel, Cargill, Polycom, Linear Technology, Cypress Semiconductor, MicroChip Technology, Juniper Networks, Apple Computer, Plantronics and Overture. Roger has also represented numerous prominent CEOs in negotiating their employment agreements. Roger is currently a member of the Committee on Employee Benefits of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation. In addition, he is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Employee Ownership, Law and Finance and is secretary of Plugged-In: Learning Through Technology, a pro bono client of the firm that operates community technology resource centers in East Palo Alto, California.

Roger received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1989, where he was a Bradley Fellow in Legal History.
