She is a senior member of the Professional Services department with Business Solutions Group of E*TRADE Financial. In this position she coordinates and presents the product training for Equity Edge, as well as the Industry Education seminars. Prior to joining E*TRADE Financial, she served as senior staff member for Shareholder Relations at one of the top 5 global biotechnology companies. She managed the databases for all worldwide stock purchase and stock option plans. In addition, Karen initiated and led the design and development of employee education programs for all associates. Her career in equity compensation began at Wang Laboratories, Inc. where she administered both the stock option and stock purchase plans on a worldwide basis for over 40,000 employees. She is a frequent speaker at Equity Edge User Group meetings, and NASPP regional meetings and was a presenter at the Global Equity Organization 2002 conference. Karen is a member of NASPP, the Global Equity Organization (GEO), and the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and serves a subject matter expert for the Certified Equity Professional Institute of Santa Clara University.
