John Heber is a tax attorney in the San Francisco office of KPMG, who specializes in executive compensation and benefits. At KPMG, he leads the Global Incentive Plan and Executive Compensation practices for the Western region. Mr. Heber's primary expertise is in the areas of executive pay strategies and international equity compensation plans. With his tax, legal, and accounting background, Mr. Heber is able to advise on both the technical and strategic implications of executive compensation and benefit programs. He has assisted many companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 50 in the design, implementation and administration of international and domestic stock option, restricted stock and employee stock purchase plans, and has advised on executive pay levels, compensation practices and tax efficient pay strategies. In addition to the design and implementation of equity incentive plans, Mr. Heber has also advised on the foreign and domestic tax implications of stock plans in the context of Mergers and Acquisitions, Spin-Off transactions and IPOs.

Mr. Heber a licensed attorney in California and Illinois and is member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and WorldatWork. Mr. Heber is also regular speaker at various conferences and seminars on global compensation and benefits issues.
