Joan Matlack CEP Ms. Matlack has over 19 years of experience in equity compensation administration and is currently an Independent Equity Compensation Consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to that, she worked for 4 1/2 years in the consulting division of the Perkins Group of Salomon Smith Barney and before that was a stock administrator in various companies in Northern and Southern California. As an independent consultant, among other things, she works for stock administrators who are on leave or have left the company, she trains stock administrators new to the field, she processes ESPP purchases, and manages the stock administration function for a company that does not yet need a full time stock administrator. Ms. Matlack is a Certified Equity Professional, serves on the board of directors of the San Francisco chapter of the NASPP and is a member of the CEP Institute's Certification Council.
