As assistant secretary, Currens serves as Reynolds' liaison with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). She is responsible for a broad range of corporate governance matters, director/officer/shareholder matters and compliance/regulatory matters including stock transfer activities, coordination of Board of Directors and Annual Shareholders meetings, preparation and filing of the company's Proxy Statement and other documents required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Currens is also responsible for proxy solicitation, securities compliance issues and shareholder relations for individual and small institutional shareholders. As director of Stock Plans, Currens is responsible for developing and implementing the company's various equity compensation plans including the REYShare Stock Option Plan, the ISO Plan and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, in addition to ensuring that Reynolds is in compliance with all SEC, NYSE and Internal Revenue Service regulations.

Currens joined Reynolds in 1979 as the supervisor of Administrative Services for Reynolds' Computer Manufacturing Operation in Cincinnati, Ohio. When Reynolds sold its computer manufacturing operation in 1993, she relocated to Dayton, Ohio and began her career in the legal department as Legal Office administrator. In 1995, she was promoted to assistant secretary and Stock Plans administrator before being promoted in 2000 to her most recent position as assistant secretary and manager of Stock Plans. Currens established Reynolds' Stock Plans and Shareholder Services departments, which, during her career, have grown to serve 10,000 optionees. She is a nationally recognized speaker concerning stock plans and corporate secretarial areas and was a founding member of the Ohio Stock Option Forum.

Currens attended the University of Cincinnati and Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) as designated by the CEP Institute of Santa Clara University in California. Currens is president of the OKI Tri-State Chapter of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries (ASCS) and serves on the Education Committee of ASCS National. She is on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and also serves on the Customer Advisory Board for the E*TRADE Business Solutions Group.
