Corey Rosen, National Center for Employee Ownership

The NCEO is the largest employee ownership organization in the world, with approximately 3,300 members. Cofounded the NCEO in 1980 and have been its director ever since. We have grown from the two cofounders to a staff of 12. Our funding comes from the work we do, not grants or contributions. Inc. magazine (August 2000), in an interview with me on stock options, said the NCEO is "the single best source of information on employee ownership anywhere in the world." We have performed several major research projects, published dozens of books and studies, edit and publish the only legal journal in the field, operate the most extensive and visited web site on employee ownership, and hold over 45 conferences and seminars annually. I have spoken on this subject all over the world with government, business, and union leaders and am regularly quoted in the leading magazines and newspapers as well as the professional press. I have appeared on a number of national television and radio programs, including the Newshour on PBS, CNN's Newstand, All Things Considered on NPR, BBC World Radio, and other programs.

Co-authored four books on employee ownership for Harcourt Brace, Cornell University Press, Ballinger Books, and Lexington Books. Authored over 100 articles for various business, academic, and professional publications. Authored or co-authored several of the NCEO's practical and research publications.
