Joanne Norgart, Silicon Graphics, Incorporated Joanne has been at Silicon Graphics for almost 11 years and is a Certified Equity Professional. She transitioned from Corp. Finance Reporting in 1996 and has managed the department for 2.5 years. Stock Administration reports directly to the Treasury VP. SGI has about 5,000 employees and Stock Administration handles options, restricted awards and espp activity with 34 payrolls. Stock Admin is responsible for the journal entries complete monthly close audits, proxy and annual report disclosures and interim and annual audits. Stock Administration is comprised of two people. The two top priorities at SGI are improving procedures and moving to paperless notification.
