Doug Foley, Ernst & Young LLP
Doug Foley is a manager in Ernst & Young's Human Resource Services practice and is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He has over 7 years experience advising companies on matters involving the development of cash and equity based compensation programs, short-term incentive compensation programs, retirement programs, internal customer satisfaction tools and strategic HR planning.
Doug is particularly involved in issues such as establishing cash and equity based compensation programs for executives and employees, developing short-term incentive reward programs that are aligned with company and department initiatives, developing equity compensation reserve and usage levels, forecasting cash and equity burn rates, and related HR advisory issues facing companies in today's market.
He is a frequent speaker on the role of compensation in support of organizational strategy and the effective use of incentive-based compensation as a means of linking individual reward to organizational value drivers at organizations such as, the Foundation for Enterprise Development and The American Israel Chamber of Commerce.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance, both from Georgia State University. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he worked as a pension actuary with another Big 5 professional services firm.
