Representative Cases/Clients:
Mr. Burmeister has assisted over 150 multinational companies in extending their stock plans to employees outside the United States. Recent projects include all-employee option grants in over 90 countries; implementation of a global stock purchase plan in over 50 countries; global analysis of option repricing (cancellation/regrant) programs, global social security minimization projects and a worldwide implementation of a global profit sharing plan.

Presentations and Publications:
Mr. Burmeister is a frequent lecturer on international equity issues. Recent presentations on these topics have been made to the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the Tax Executive Institute, the Global Equity Organization and the Foundation for Enterprise Development. Mr. Burmeister has authored an article, published in the Spring 2001 edition of the WorldatWork Journal, entitled "Top 10 Mistakes in Implementing a Global Stock Plan."

Professional Memberships:
Mr. Burmeister is past Chairman of the State Bar of California - Taxation Section and is listed in The Best Lawyers of America. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the Board of the Certified Equity Professional Institute, Santa Clara University, the Board of the Global Equity Organization, the World Equity Council, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Western Pension & Benefits Conference.

Bar Admittance and Education:
Mr. Burmeister is a graduate of Stanford University (A.B.) and Stanford Law School (J.D.) where he was Order of the Coif and Managing Editor of the Stanford Law Review. He is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Tax Court and Claims Court.
